Our B&B is open and operating as usual, however, please note, that sadly our restaurant/pub will not be open when you stay with us, (There is another village pub within short walking distance of The Queen Matilda – see details further in this letter.), however, our warm hospitality, cosy rooms and delicious continental breakfast are all here ready to welcome you.

Absolute gem and fantastic hosts! Had a lovely few days at the Queen Matilda Inn. The hosts were fantastic and very welcoming. The room was beautiful, spacious and decorated to a high standard. It was lovely and warm and cosy. There was a very high standard of cleanliness.. The breakfast was great and was included in the price. It was a great base for a few days at The Cheltenham Festival. A fraction of the cost of staying in Cheltenham. Fantastic value for money. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Looking forward to going back again.

Lovely pretty accommodation in Avening, right in the heart of the village. Our hosts were extremely helpful and as we had dogs had provided us with a ground floor room which was very handy. Great breakfast, plenty of parking. Very quiet so you get a very good nights sleep. Modern clean bathroom with a great shower.

We loved our stay with James and Jo. They were so kind, personable, and accommodating. Jo was very helpful with tips of where to visit, the weather, and even the distance to travel to a location. We would definitely stay there if we visit the Cotswolds again.
